3kg Air Dry Clay in a Box - Collection from Studio
3kg air dry clay - Clay in a Box
Our air dry clay in a box is a great gift for a loved one, yourslef and perfect for children. Our clay in a box means you can practice and create in the comfort of your own home. Handbuilding ceramics has so many techniques to work with and manipulate the clay you can create anything from sculptural pieces to domesticated work such as plates, bowls and teapots. The possibilites are endless with handbuilding. Air dry clay works the exact same way as an earthenware or stoneware but with one fabulous different quality... it doesn't need to be fired. You can handbuild and create your work, leave your work to dry at home (usually a good 24 hours) and once your clay is bone dry you can then paint it at home with anything you have in the house - from nailvarnish, to posterpaint to even shoe polish. Cover your finished piece with some water tight varnish and your work can even live outside for a short while.
